Colby Falls – A Phoenix Wedding Venue

Colby Falls by Wedgewood Weddings is a beautiful wedding venue located in Gilbert, Arizona.
It is best known for it’s beautiful waterfalls located on the property. The main waterfall creates the perfect backdrop for those dreamy, romantic couples portraits as well as the family formal pictures. This waterfall works great for large groups because of the waterfall is also large! They also has a smaller waterfall inside the venue which is perfect for saying “I do” in-front of. Both waterfalls have actual running water through out the entire year too!

What else makes Colby Falls great?

Aside from the waterfalls, Colby Falls, has many other great features that make this wedding venue an excellent choice! The bridal and groom suites both have large windows that allow for lots of natural light. While most photographers will have additional lights and flashes, having natural light will help create the beautiful images you desire! The bridal suite has a very elegant feel to it with soft and neutral colors through out. The grooms suite has a pool table and lounge chairs for the groom and groomsmen to occupy themselves with. It even has immediate access to outside for fresh air. Both rooms are kept separate to prevent the groom rom seeing his bride before he is supposed to.

Inside the main ballroom, there are large ceiling height windows that create an elegant and romantic backdrop for dance floor pictures, especially during the first dance. They even have a separate area for cocktail hour where guests can wait while the bride, groom, and immediate family take their formal pictures in front of the main waterfall.

As a wedding photographer, working with the staff at Colby Falls, I had a great experience. My bride and groom also agreed to having a great experience having their wedding here. For anyone looking for a wedding venue in the general Phoenix and surrounding areas, Colby Falls is the place to be!
