We recently spent FOUR days at Disneyland and California Adventures theme park. In short, we had an absolute blast. We were accompanied by my sister-in-law, Kaitlynn, who is basically a Disneyland guru with her frequent visits over the last few years.
Natalie was so brave on all the rides that she rode. While she may not admit it, I think she actually liked the Guardians of the Galaxy ride that is formerly known as The Tower of Terror. It’s the ride she talks the most about and with excitement I should add, but when you ask her if she liked that ride she’s says no. She also really loved the characters we had encounters with and was just three pages shy of filling her entire signature book!
My husband, Garrett, had a lot of fun in the Starwars area. He got to build his own lightsaber, which was a really neat experience. I would say if you are debating doing that, it’s worth it. We ate strange starwars inspired food and drinks. We even saw stormtroopers, Captain Phasma, and Kylo Ren.
I really enjoyed seeing Natalie so excited about all the fun surprises at Disney. Seeing her face light up when Tigger asked her to bounce with him and listening to her conversation with Mulan as they casually walked and talked together. I also really enjoyed pin trading!! If you don’t know about pin trading, I would look it up. Its lots of fun!
If you are planning a trip to Disneyland and California Adventures, here a few things I recommend you try!
If you have recently been and would like to add another recommendation for others, let us know in the comments!! If you don’t have any recommendations, but have recently been to Disney, what was your favorite memory?!
