Baby Isaac

Welcoming a new baby into the world is such a beautiful season in life. Whether it’s your first baby or fifth baby, each new light in this world is a reason to celebrate. This season of life is often gone too soon as your baby grows faster than you can ever imagine.

I was recently given the honor of taking baby Isaac’s newborn portraits. Crystal, Isaacs mom, decided to treat herself by adding on hair and make up to her session. My makeup artist Susie Von Slaughter did an amazing job! Crystal looked absolutely stunning.

This sweet little babe wanted to stay close to mom the whole session. He’s definitely already a mommy’s boy! We started with family pictures so that mom could hold baby and help get him nice and comfortable in hopes that he fall asleep. His big sister, Isela, definitely loves her baby brother. She was so good with him and would give him little kisses and snuggles through out the whole session. Once he finally succumbed to sleep, we were able to capture those sweet dreamy newborn poses. We started on the “bean bag” where we captured a few poses with different wraps and a cute little teddy bear prop. Then we moved over to the prop set of a little itty bitty bed. After I got a few shots of him swaddled on the bed, I dared to remove the swaddle. He did wake a little but I was able to gently pat him back to sleep.

I had a great time chatting with his parents and snuggling baby Issac in-between sets! I am excited to be able to watch baby Isaac grow into the individual he will become in time. Lastly, congratulations to Crystal, Christopher, and Isela on their new family member!
